On March 16th SERMRC was host to guest speaker Kerry Boland who has recently completed a research paper for UNICEF documenting the journey for ten children seeking asylum in the west. These children are the tip of a growing iceberg - in 2009 2,500 unaccompanied minors left Afghanistan seeking a better life in the west.
